For several years now my grandmother has subscribed to Seventeen magazine for my sister & I to enjoy. I rarely notice the cosmetic samples but for whatever reason, this New Dream Fresh BB cream by Maybelline caught me eye in the latest issue. I took it out of the magazine and put it on my bathroom counter. Tuesday morning I used it for the first time. WOW! I love the softness it adds to my skin. It made my skin look like a baby's, no joke. I used it as a "base" then applied a little blush (Mary Kay) then powder (Mary Kay) over the cream and blush. Side note: for whatever reason, I like the look of powder over blush... I think blush over powder is a more dramatic look than I would like.. anyways, cream.. love it!
This picture does not do a justice, but it does show the clearness of my face after the cream had been applied for around 12 hours!
The shade I received was Light/Medium Sheer Tint... and it was perfect. It gave just enough coverage to even my skin tone, without looking like I had "caked" foundation on. This cream is available in 5 skin tones.
When I applied the BB cream I just squirted pea size amounts into my palm, then blended it onto my face one "section" at a time- left cheek, right cheek, nose, chin, forehead/ temples, using my fingers.
BB creams combine skincare + makeup in 1 simple step 8-in-1 Skin Perfector because it blurs imperfections, brightens & evens skin tone, smoothes, hydrates, & enhances, as well as protecting your skin with SPF 30. BB cream has 0% oils and heavy ingredients.
Have you ever tried this product? Or a similar one from a different manufacture? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
I got the same magazine the other day and took the sample out to! I'm going to try it tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLet me know how you like it! I'm totally diggin' it! :)
DeleteI recieved the same in my magazine. I, on the other hand did not like it. It felt too heavy on my skin and made my skin look oily. I will however give it the credit for not clogging my pores and for making my skin silky soft.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your feedback! I too agree that it did not clog my pores!
