The BEST Spaghetti Sauce + Baked S'ghetti Tutorial

Nothing warms the insides when the weather turns cool better than spaghetti. I was so happy to eat two gracious helpings last night for dinner. Below is my recipe and tutorial on how to make amazing spaghetti sauce, then turn it into an awesome "Baked Spaghetti" creation!

What You'll Need (for the sauce)

-1 lb hamburger (we use deer hamburger, which is what is in the camouflage packaging)
-1 jar of Prego (or any kind) Spaghetti sauce. This jar was Roasted Red Pepper and Garlic
-1 jar of tomato sauce
-1 jar of tomato paste.
-garlic salt, Emeril's Original Essence (amazing), pepper, Italian Seasoning, and Oregano
these seasonings are extras for us, but I swear they make the biggest difference.

For the baked spaghetti you will need...
-1/2 a box of spaghetti noodles (we use whole wheat)
-5 slices of Velveeta cheese
-1 cup of mozzarella cheese

In a large pot, brown your hamburger, drain the grease, and return to stove-top.

Next, add remaining ingredients (for sauce) to pot
Stir...
Bring sauce to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes- 1 hour. If you are making this before work, this sauce is also awesome to throw into the Crock Pot on low when you reach this point.
I always make extra to freeze.

***
If you are making the baked spaghetti... you would now boil your water, then cook your noodles until they stick when you throw one at the wall... (;
Then you would drain noodles, and transfer to a baking dish (9x13)
Now, artfully arrange the slices of Velveeta cheese.
Now cover in about 1inch of the spaghetti sauce....
then add the 1cup of mozzarella cheese atop of sauce...
Now, pop in oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes...

This is one of my all time favorites. When it comes to food, I don't throw the word "favorite" around lightly. Favorites are serious business. Do me a favor, don't skim on the cheese. Especially the Velveeta, which melts into the noodles....

Easy Pizza Quesadillas

Hello, lovelies! This week I am cooking up a storm to make "Nanny Mal's" last week awesome! Last night I made pepperoni pizza quesadillas and they were awesome! We ate them off the ottoman while watching Pretty Little Liars! Amazing combination. The recipe was easy to follow, however the tortillas weren't as crispy as I'd like them to be but they began to burn so we took them out of the skillet. Next time I will bake them to try to achieve crispiness and attempt to make them more healthy!

Easy Pizza Quesadillas

Ingredients:
8 flour tortillas (I used whole wheat)
8 ounces of shredded mozzarella cheese
6 ounces of sliced pepperoni
1 16 ounce jar of pizza sauce
(You could also add any other pizza toppings that you like)

Directions:
1. Heat a medium skillet over medium heat and fry the pepperoni until crisp - transfer to a paper towel to drain

2. Brush each tortilla with a thin layer of pizza sauce. You want this layer to be very thin!

3. Sprinkle cheese on top of the sauce on the bottom tortilla. Top with other toppings if desired. Sprinkle another layer of cheese and place the other tortilla on top- sauce side down

4. Preheat a greased skillet over medium heat.
5. Gently place quesadilla in the pan and cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, until cheese is melted and tortillas are crispy

6. Slice into quarters and serve with a bowl of warm pizza sauce

Enjoy♥

The Cheese to My Danish

Cream Cheese Danish

Here it is folks!! My famous homemade cream cheese danish recipe! Bone Appetite :)

These ingredients needed, brand does not matter
- 2 rolls of crescent rolls
-one 'block' of cream cheese
**Also need cinnamon sugar to sprinkle on top & vanilla extract if desired!

1) Preheat oven to time on crescent roll can (375 F)
2) Mix cream cheese & 1 cup of sugar (splenda) together in bowl
Important: Do not unroll crescents!
3) Roll out full sheet of crescents
4) Spread Cream Cheese & sugar mixture evenly across crescent roll 'sheet'
**Today I was only making 'half' of one... so I only used 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 of the block of cream cheese. Then I spread half the crescent rolls out, spread the mixture, then covered with the other half. I make the smaller version if I am just making it for myself.
5) Spread the other roll, or other half, over top of the mixture. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar!
Sorry for the poor quality photo!
6) Bake for 10-12 minutes, depending on your oven
7) After it is done, add a little more cinnamon sugar. You can never have too much!
*Make sure it is cooled, or your 'mixture' will run everywhere, which will make it "Cream Cheese Danish Soup!"

& your done!
**Spatulas work best for cuttings & serving!

Happy Eating!♥
