Little Darla (who hasn't visited this blog in awhile) got a haircut! How cute is that face? Pretty stinkin' adorable. The best part- she smells heavenly!

Boyfriend and I had our eighteen month anniversary Tuesday and he took me to Olive Garden! Yay for a night on the town and a cute outfit.

[three]

My new boots finally came after 10 days of agony! I can not longer find them online, but they came from urbanog.com !

[four]

Boyfriend took me to Krispy Kreme... their pumpkin spice donut is to die for! Nothing like some donut holes and my favorite k-cup, also♥

[five]

We finally got some rain this week and experience the brightest rainbow! It was stunning. The picture doesn't come close to doing a justice!

High Five For Friday!

Good afternoon, loves! I finally figured out how to connect to my hotels WiFi! As of last night, I was in a panic because I had not pre-wrote a post for today! But all worries aside, I am online for the time being! I am linking up with Lauren from "From My Grey Desk Blog" in her High Five For Friday link up! {one} I made an appointment Tuesday to get my hair one Monday. I am getting the beach wave perm and a shorter cut length!! Super excited! Flowy-loose curls here I come!

{two} I finished two books this week; Three Weeks with my Brother by Nicholas Sparks (read my review/thoughts about this here) as well as Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, which was also fantastic! I have moved on to Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo! My summer reading list has began to dwindle down...

{three} I got my nails done yesterday morning for the first time in forever! Love the tapping noise they make as I type! My father, who is trying to nap at the moment, doesn't like it so much!

{four} We arrived in Birmingham, Alabama safely! The show today goes from 5:00pm-10:00pm which will make for a long evening! However, we are ready for the upcoming possibility of expanding the company!

{five} we got the "okay" which means August 10th-August 13th, Tyler & I will be going on our second beach trip with one another! I am super excited considering we will be going with my dad! Since he has taken his second job, we weren't sure if we were going to get to take a family vacation. Even though we will only be staying for a long weekend, I am so excited and anxious!

High Five For Friday

This will be sort of a bitter sweet Friday for me. Although I am still at the beach, I will be returning home tomorrow. Going home for me means doing too much dirty laundry, having to do chores once more, and not seeing Tyler every morning when I wake and every evening as I close my eyes. But I'm still young and I'm sure Tyler & I will have more beach trips in our future!!! 

Here is the five best things this week had in store for me!

1.  Taking my mother's advice in how to avoid getting sunburnt. Who knew wearing sunscreen would do that! Thanks Mom!! 




2. Taking the more adorable, beach side photos with Tyler. I thought they were precious!

3. Purchasing my first sewing machine via walmart.com ! I am super stoked about its arrival and my dive into the art of sewing! 

4. Winning a give away from Framed Frosting through a weekly giveaway hosted by the lovely Danielle every Thursday! Thanks again to Danielle!

5. I bought the second to newest American Pie movie... "American Wedding" at Walmart for $7.50. I must say, it was fabulously hilarious! If you have not seen it- rent it. Or buy it, so you can watch it over, and over, and over!

Friday, Friday, Friiiiidaaaay!♥

You know what today is? Of course you do... it's Friday! As usual, today is the weekly "High Five 4 Friday" link up hosted by Lauren from From My Grey Desk Blog! It is simple- you post a entry proclaiming the five best things from this week, then you visit Lauren's blog, link up, and you can check out others doing the same thing! 


Here are the top five things this week had to offer...

1. I got to drive a Convertible Mercedes Benz! Heck yeah!! Major change from my dad's F150. Wouldn't mind driving this baby every day.

2. I got to see my sweet heart far more than usual this week. During a normal week we will only see each other on Sunday, but this week gave us a lot more boyfriend-girlfriend time! Can't wait for tomorrow...♥

3. Speaking of tomorrow... we will be BEACH BOUND!!! Sun in my eyes, sand places it should never go, and salty sea air/water... I'm such a beach bum!

4. Yesterday I had to accompany my grand mother to have a procedure done in a near by county. My reward? Buttermilk pancakes from Crackle Barrel. And not just any buttermilk pancakes. Buttermilk pancakes with the fresh fruit toppings....sweet peach toppings♥ I could almost hear the hallelujah chorus as I chomped. :)

I stumbled across this quote while reading "The Wedding" in class on day. I jotted it down and it made its way to the bottom of my purse. When I was switching to my new Coach bag Tyler got me for my birthday, I rediscovered it. Reading this aloud to myself made me realize in a whole new way what a precious thing true love is. And that is definitely "high five" worthy!

If you come to wonder if I have gone 'MIA' over the next week, it is because of my beach trip! I'm going to try my best to stay off my phone, so the posts might be few & far between. However, I will be back next week...full of new posts & ideas!!

HiGh FiVe FoR fRiDaY!

This week has been stressful, none the less. I'm so pleased to finally say I am no longer a freshman, but now a sophmore! Freshman year was real, freshman year was fun... but freshman year was not "real fun!" I do not dig homework, or drama, or getting ready at 6:00am so I am glad to be settling back into my naturally go with the flow lifestyle. However, here is what you've all been waiting for, my "High Five for Friday" post! Be sure to go link up with Lauren if you want to link up & join the fun!


1. Passing all my exams, and for sure making a final grade of an "A" in three of my four classes- didn't have a chance to go check my Algebra ll grade, so not sure about that one.


2. Taking a "personal day" Wednesday- aka, leaving early because I didn't feel like watching CSI. (:


3. Getting around three inches cut off my hair. I needed a new look for summer, and I was not liking my other hairstyle, what so ever.


4. Starting off my summer vacation with a good ole' best friend photo shoot!
