Dear Fall...

“But then fall comes, kicking summer out on its treacherous ass as it always does one day sometime after the midpoint of September, it stays awhile like an old friend that you have missed. It settles in the way an old friend will settle into your favorite chair and take out his pipe and light it and then fill the afternoon with stories of places he has been and things he has done since last he saw you.”

Dear Fall,
As leaves change colors and fall to the ground, they mimic my memories which were once vibrant and lively, but now ponderous.  Watching the leaves change colors and fall lifelessly to the Earth's floor is like watching your previous love of something wither away, then collect into a pile of "been there-done that's". But then, when Spring resurfaces, you pick up the pieces, and grow in a new way... excepting new challenges, new people, and new advice. Things change, like the colors of the leaves, reminding you to enjoy what you have while you have it, because you could wake up and find it gone.
Here's to being out with the old, and in with the new... ridding my life of dying passions and unworthy associates, so when Spring resurfaces, I have room to accept the new glorious creations God plants in my way.

Happy Friday my loves.♥

High Five Letters

Happy Friday! The title of this post might confuse you, it did me the first time I saw it on another gal's blog. You've all seen the "High Five For Friday" link up hosted by Lauren, and the "Friday's Letters" link up hosted by Ashley! Both are fantastic link ups... so why not combine them! So that is why this fabulous post is titled High Five Letters!

{one}
Dear Thirty One package that arrived earlier this week... I am lovin' what you contain! Can't wait to share what I bought! Next Saturday I will reveal, can't before them because the photos showcase my mom's birthday present and my school lunch box!

{two}
Dear Couch to 5K... thank you for exsisting. I started this program again (more details on why later) and I am so happy to be considered a "runner" again. I feel so great about myself post-workout! I will confess my previous couch to 5k experience later, along with the whole gist of Couch to 5k. If you are dying to know now, Google it.
New kicks I purchased for running, working out, and school!

{three}
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace, your everlasting forgiveness, and your willingness to listen and understand. Talking to you like I would to a friend is the perfect way to end every day, and begin one. You are an amazing God.♥

{four}
Dear Tyler, thank you for all you say and do for  me. Knowing I have your support means the world too me. Everytime something happens in my world, I want to run and share it with you asap. You are that person for me. "Boyfriend" has became a universal term for all things you are- they're are too many to type. Thank you for always being you, and for always loving me!

Dear Myrtle Beach, look out! Dad, Tyler, and I are headed your way!! Please grace us with great weather, and slim crowds! Thanks, you're the best!!

Friday's Letters

I'm following in Alexis's footsteps & participating in a different Friday link-up than usual. I am linking up with Ashley from Adventures of Newlyweds in her Friday's Letters link up. I've never participated in this link up before, however, after reading a new others, I am really excited to join in!

Dear Friday, thank you for finally coming. This week has been totally boring (thanks, thunderstorms), so the thought of a much sunnier weekend has the spirits high! Sincerely, I have an afro due to the moisture.

Dear Tyler, after spending a week with you, and then six days without you, I am very sad & in need to cuddle time. So thankful we will be reunited tomorrow! Thank you much for your support this week. Love you sweetie♥ Sincerely, sunshine(:
PS: Happy fourteen month anniversary babe- love, love, love you!!!!

Dear reality television, you suck. Play something actually worth watching! Sincerely, Miss-play-something good!

Dear God, thank you for being an amazing God. Thank you for answering my nightly prayers and thank you for forgiving me when I do wrong. I can't wait to worship in your house Sunday morning. Sincerely, lover of Jesus Christ

Dear Dad, you working second shift is a bummer. Cooking my own meals is a even bigger bumper. Please go back to first shift. Sincerely, Rachel Ray

Dear lovely readers,  please excuse my lack of response to recent comments! However, I always return emails... so if you really need my opinion/ want feedback, email me, please! I will try to do better, pinky promise! Sincerely, Rural Rach

Dear refrigerator, please magically have something cheesy, salty, and sweet sitting on your selves next time I open your doors. Sincerely, hungry.

Dear 50 Shades readers, I cannot help but to ponder over the constant stream of thoughts I know are flowing through your brains as you read about chains, whips, and "vanilla sex." Sorry, it just gives me the heebie jeebies. Sincerely, it's much more than a "quick summer read!"      PS: I wonder how many more pure romance parties are being thrown? Hmm.

Happy Friday, Y'all!
