WIWW: Picture Day

Hooray! It's Wednesday. Wednesday's are great for two reasons: hump day (weeks half way over) and I get to participate in my favorite link up! Lindsey {The Pleated Poppy} must have ate her Wheaties's the day she mustered up this link up because it is genius! She, being a stay at home mom, needed some motivation to get dressed at least once a week. Lindsey noticed this whole concept truly motivated her, and made others notice her new self-presentation! I love this link up and I love showing you all what I really do wear every week! Hope you enjoy!

This outfit is what I wore yesterday to school, which happened to be picture day. All was going well until I walked out the front door... humidity- BAM! Hair goes limp. What was intentionally a curled under bob look, became a wavy, frizzy hot mess. Don't believe me? Look up "hot-mess" in the dictionary and there I will be...

If your mind set is anything like mine, you're probably thinking this outfit is also a hot mess. It isn't I promise. My dad stole my memory card out of my camera to put in the trail cameras (shaking my head) so I had to result to the good ole iPhone for my photos... Seems like everyone else takes fabulous cell phone shots. However, I hope you like this semi-casual outfit! It was super comfy and I did get compliments on it, which is always a plus. 

WIWW: First 3 Days

secret for keeping bottom of shirt tied all day long: hold the ends together and wrap a clear elastic around it like your making the ends into a pony tail...then tie the ends into a knot!

WIWW: Neutral Dress

Glad you stopped by to check out my "What I Wore Wednesday" post! WIWW is a link up hosted by Lindsey { The Pleated Poppy } as a motivation to get dressed every week, since she is a stay at home mom! I agree with her in the fact this makes me feel better about myself, versus when I stay in "crap clothes" all day! This outfit is what I wore yesterday evening to my sisters volleyball games! It was super comfy and semi-casual. I was always told "Always dress like you're going to see your worst enemy!" 

I love the "sideways" stripes this dress has! I think it makes for a very flattering dress!!
